💥Less = ‘a smaller amount of’ and takes a singular noun. 

Less* كميه قليلة وياتي بعدها اسم مفرد غير معدود

e.g. There is less work available during a recession. 

هناك عمل اقل متوفر خلال فتره الركود الاقتصادي

⭐️Fewer = ‘a smaller number of’ and takes a plural noun. 

Few* تستخدم مع عدد قليل وتتبع بأسم جمع معدود

e.g. There are fewer jobs available during a recession.

هناك وظائف اقل متوفره خلال فتره الركود الاقتصادي

Do you know when to use "fewer" and when to use "less"? "Fewer" is used when referring to things or people in the plural, while "less" is used to refer to something that cannot be counted or does not have a plural. 

On top of that, "less" is also used on their own and with expressions of measurement or time. For example: His weight fell from 60 kilograms to less than 50 after his long bout of illness. They stayed in that house for less than two years.
