الفرق بين i used to و i am used to
الفرق بين used to و "I am used to:

Take a look at the following two sentences. what's the difference in meaning?
انظر الي المثالين التاليين لتعرف الفرق بينهما
"I used to drink green tea."
"I am used to drinking tea."
I used to something
"I used to drink green tea."
"I used to drink green tea", means that, in the past I drank green tea, but now I don't. Used to describes an action that did happen, but doesn't happen now.
خد المثال دة عشان تقدر تفهم الفرق:
"I used to drink green tea."
اعتدت ان اشرب الشاي الأخضر ، بمعني كٌنُُتْ بشرب شاي اخضر زمان لكن دلوقت مبشربوش.يعني used to تستخدم لوصف حدث اعتدت ان افعله سابقا لكن لا يحدث الان .
I am used to something
الان انظر الي المثال التالي باستخدام "I am used to:
"I am used to drinking green tea."
المثال دة بيعني ٱن شرب الشاي الأخضر كان غير مستساغ بالنسبة لي في اول الامر لكن الان قد تعودت علي شربه.واصبح شربه عادة بالنسبة لي.
اذن يمكن القول ان Be used to تصف شيء كان صعبا ف اول الامر ثم تم الاعتياد علي حدوثه فأصبح أمرا معتادا .
"I am used to drinking green tea", means that, at first drinking green tea was strange and unusual, but now it has become familiar. Be used to describes an action that was, perhaps, difficult and is now easy. "I am accustomed to green tea", has the same meaning.
